A great lesson I learned from this past weekend at General Conference, a globally broadcasted conference for my church, is to never forget your heritage. This picture is at Martins Cove, Wyoming where Mormon pioneers sought refuge during an early season snow storm until aid arrived from Salt Lake City, Utah. I am so proud of this heritage! Remembering who I am and where I come from helps me unleash my own hero and strive to leave behind a legacy of my own.
Just as I am the legacy of the pioneer ancestors who went before me, I want to leave behind a legacy of my own on this world that people can remember me by. This motivates me in a big way. Every effort I make today to build my own business, and really my own life, is absolutely worth it. Digging through the trenches of the moment is always a challenge, but to see the progress come over time brings so much joy. Please remember that! Each day is a chance to build your own legacy that you will leave behind.
Just like Mufasa said, "Remember who you are"!
